A spokesman of Sindh Police department here on Tuesday said the Committee will be headed by Additional Inspector General, Sanaullah Abbasi. The candidates recruited during the mentioned period had been discharged from service on grounds of being recruited illegally during four years period, from 2012 to 2015. Their dismissal was said to be made as per recommendations of an enquiry conducted by team of senior officers of the department itself.
The then dismissed candidates, as per orders of the Supreme Court will now be re-examined in accordance to general recruitment pattern adopted by the Sindh Police department in 2016, said the spokesman. The pattern, was said to encompass physical examination, written test through NTS and other relevant assessments that are part of the department's recruitment policy.
The Sindh Police department spokesman said that age of these candidates will, however, be determined on the basis of cut-off date when they were previously recruited. Exemption from running test will be offered only to those who were injured or got exposed to any medical condition during their previous service to the Sindh Police department, said the spokesman. He said the Centralised Re-examination Committee will complete the task in three months.
